anybody else noticed that the finalizer seems to change panning when something is soloed?

for example, when a complete band plays everything is fine. and after some bars the guitar on the left plays one bar a riff on its own the guitar seems to move a little bit more to the middle. anybody else noticed this?

i just own the plus version so there is no stereo image (or 3-band spectral enhancing) modification available like in the 96 khz version.

A limiter squashes a track and therefore decreases the difference in volume between left and right. That's how you can get a perceived change in panning.

This is dead on. Using the same limiter in a stereo vs. multi-mono setup, you can hear a difference in the L/R relationship on most mixes. Generally, a multi-mono setup will give you a bit more perceived width than a stereo setup (because of the greater difference between the left and right channels).
