From Bravewords:

"German power metallers PARADOX have issued the following update:

"We are sorry to inform you, that we had to split with Kai Pasemann (guitar) and Roland Jahoda (drums). We had no choice, because we found out we have a different view on how to reach our goals.

We thank Kai and Roland for the years they stayed with us and wish them all the best in their future!

Skilled Lead guitarists and drummers, who want to work with us professionally on a long term contact us at paradoxbangers@aol.com

In February 2011 we plan to release our new album for the 25th anniversary of the band.

Paradox is still alive!"

Sure hope they find some killer players soon. I would be highly disappointed if they had to drop. I still don't really consider them power metal or even power thrash. It's just a label though.

Goddammit! Kai has been with Paradox for a long time & Roland was thier best drummer! Hopefully they'll find replacements before PP. I am still so stoked about Paradox being at PP, hopefully they won't cancel!

PARADOX just attained a fucking killer guitar player. Here's the story:

Long running German power metallers PARADOX have announced that new guitarist Gus Drax replaces the recently-departed Kai Pasemann.

A bio on Drax reads as follows:

Gus Drax was born in Larissa Greece on September 21 1987. He decided to play guitar at the age of 14 when he saw Live in Tokyo by DREAM THEATER and was amazed by John Petrucci. He started practicing for 6-12 hours a day. At the age of 19 his talent was noticed by John K, the vocalist/band leader of the UK progressive metal band BIOMECHANICAL. John suggested him to join the band and in August 2007 Gus was the new guitarist of Biomechanical. He toured the UK at February 2008 and since then he played at a lot of places all over Europe. Athens, Thessaloniki, Milan, Porto and Tolmin Slovenia!

The greatest moment so far was Biomechanical's participation in some of Europe's biggest Heavy Metal Festivals in front of thousands of people. These were Metalcamp (Slovenia), Rockin Field (Milan, Italy) and Caos-Emergente (Porto, Potrugal).

Besides Biomechanical, Gus is going to release his first instrumental solo album in 2010 called In Search Of Perfection featuring Bob Katsionis (FIREWIND, OUTLOUD) and Steve Smyth (FORBIDDEN, ex-NEVERMORE, TESTAMENT) as guests. He's also writing material for a new band he recently formed.

Paradox also posted Gus Drax's photo on their MySpace blog along with 2 videos. http://www.myspace.com/paradoxbangers

So any explanation as to why Roland left and then came back? Seems sorta weird to me.
