yes it is possible.......u put the dvd in the dvd player, plug in the stereo outs into the sound card.....and there u have it.
or r u talking about something else?

Like someone else said, it is possible. I don't even need to put the stereo out in the sound card. Everything that goes thru a sound card can be recorded with the right tools you get a .wav that is of top quality. I do it for my vinyls as well.

The software I use is called wavelab lite. It works fine and is simple to use.
