wrong the UN has no army; it uses segments of the other countries armies, and if the UN ever pissed off the US to a significant extent, we could take our commitment out and bye bye big peacekeeping force

you wouldn't do it for some corrupted politicians, you are doing it for the love of your country, the place where you grew up and gave you a pertenence feeling.
