Paul Chain is a cult legend in the underground doom scene for kickassery and experimentalism. Not sure if many here at RC know about him though. Alkahest and Park of Reason are my two favorites of his.

While not a fan, I've always been quite fond of Paul Chain. Interesting musical ideas. Again, I almost never listens to this style anymore unless foobar is on random, but why Cathedral is a cult act and this guy basically has zero recognition beyond the purists, is beyond me.
