I'm sure your dad is dying to see you all!

Oh wait, I'm from there...
Nice place, friendly people!
valanx said:LOL.
My Dad certainly seems to like it there and has only had good things to say about the people there. He seems to be quite popular himself too, joined a bowling team and everything lol
Sammi951 said:No, I'm sure the people in both places will be really nice! I'm just biased towards Manchester, because that's where I'm from!![]()

So he joined a bowling league...not skittles???
valanx said:I think your definately right there, my sister who has 3 kids was really there for us all through the pregnancy and around the time of the birth etc. As was my mum who had wanted me to have a child for years.
My dad phoned the hospital the night Jessica was born (i emailed him from the ward when Julie went in) , i had barely heard anything at all from him for months so you can imagine the emotional impact that had on me, he called literally just moments after i saw my little girl come into the world...I was a wreck....Loved every nerve shaking second of that night though!
Sending my dad pictures and stuff isnt the same, im desperate to see him and for him to see Jess.
