PC speakers for amplifying axe fx/POD HD500?

i have a small desk.. can anybody recommend good sounding PC speakers not monitors for amplifying my axe fx/hd 500 for quiet home practicing?

You would probably be better off with a nice set of headphones for what you would spend on pc speakers.

The Audio Technica AT-M50's are great headphones and they are quite cheap.

Any PC speakers I've tried sounded terrible with amp modelling. You could get a second hand pair of monitors for quite cheap.

There are some compact 3" monitors out there. I've been looking at some 3" Genelecs myself actually. I've not gotten any decent results with PC speakers and my Axe FX II.

I'm running a HD Pro w/ KRK RP5 G2 and overall I would recommend them.
