peavey 6505 + cab - what would happen if...

i've got a peavey 6505+ and a nice marshall 1960 cab. just wondering instead of buying a hotplate what would happen if i pluged in a volume pedal between the head and the cab?

would i like..em - blow the pedal? or what?

just a random question. i would like to know...

The volume pedal isn't made to take the strong current signal that flows from the head's output to the cabinet.

You will most likely fuck the pedal and fucking the pedal you will open-circuit the connection to the cab that will fuck you head

You can alwaus try it and film it for educational purposes

reminds me of a seminar at engineering college I went some months ago:
