Produced a new song for my friends in Persaeus and I have to say this song is the best mix/master i have ever done for them, I'm really happy with how it came out. There's always room for improvement but every time I record them it seems to improve so I'm happy.

For the first time I tried Quad tracking the guitars and I'm really happy with how it came out, definitely helped beef them up. Their guitarist Ethan is a killer player and really tight so I had no problems.

Guitars are Ts-808 into Das Metal into the cab block in stereo mode with the V30 cab and R121 mic for beef and Cali cab and SM58 for clarity, then the second tracks are ts-808 into Recto New into the same cab block and those tracks are 5 db lower than the Das Metal tracks.

Bass is a SansAmp Bass Driver pedal direct in with an Ampeg 8x10 impulse applied.

Drums are Superior Drummer 2.0 for snare, toms, and cymbals, with the kick being replaced by Slate Kick10.

That should cover it, as always questions and constructive critisim are always welcome!

On this i'm hearing too much compression being used, especially on the snare. The guitar tone seems a little too thin, maybe EQ it less so it sounds fuller in the mix but be mindful of the headroom everything needs. Better yet, I would try some different amp sims for the guitars.
