Really digging the new Persuader - nothing innovative, but it's BG style power metal done extremely well.

For me, music isn't about being innovation, it's about good songwriting (as I'm sure it is for you). Write me a Metal disc with 10 killer tracks, and I'm a happy man, regardless of whether you reivented the wheel to do so. I tend to think when we call something "generic", it's as much a slam on the quality as it is about the lack of originality.
