In 2001 Opeth and Katatonia done a tour together, at least at the London show anyway, i was so hyped up about the fact that it looked likely that Mikael would sing 'Brave' (or another BMD song) with Katatonia. i mean, it made perfect sense to do it, but it didn't happen, the fact im still thinking about it now means we deffinately need to hear some older songs other than the traditional 'murder' at the end of the gig.



an idea i like is.... sometimes bands play 2 dates at the same venue, if katatonia were to do this, why not play one standard gig, and as a bonus play an old school gig on the other date. anyway i can only hope/dream.

its nice to hope about this....and I dont want to ruin your good time guys.....but the only way they are gonna do more than one or 2 songs old school is if Micke is gonna be there....Jonas's voice wont do it anymore...besides screaming like that takes its toll on his clean voice...and doing that at every show or even a few shows in a row would likely ruin the rest of the tour. In truth, for me its not that important...and thats why I have not signed the petition....its a new era for Katatonia....you guys should just get used to that fact.
This is just my opinion.....be mad if you want
