Petrucci Crunch Chorus

Any ideas on getting that crunch chorus sound in the style of John Petrucci or Alex Lifeson. I'm using a crunchlab pickup, BIAS MkIIC+ and podfarm (not platinum).

I rate Crunch's new album Chorus 6.5/10. Vocals are too far back in the mix, compositions are uninspired. The span of the instrumentation sounds far too mechanical and polished, and Petrucci's guest solo on "BIAS MkIIC+" is the album's only saving grace.
