I'm thinking about buying the reissue of Phantom's Opera's debut. Does anyone have it, and if so, is it worth buying?

If you are into collecting all stuff related to Symphony X, then get it.
Mike Romeo is the guitarist. I only like about 2 songs on it. For the most
part, it's an 80s hair band sound, not a prog album. But if you're into that,
it's a well produced album and the songs are OK for 80's rock.

I concur with Pharoah. There are no absolutely crazy Romeo solos on it (like you hear in early SyX stuff), but he plays some nice stuff...particularly the acoustic intro/solos in Word from the Master.
