This is my "I'm getting tired so here's a quick review" review.

Evergrey was on first. Awesome set.

Bodom were insane. The crowd got so into it I literally was off my feet in midair cause people were up against me. Same setlist as every other city, really, insane performance.

I missed a majority of Iced Earth, but Ripper was awesome on vocals. He just needs a few more stage moves besides air boxing and playing air guitar.

Met the bands after the show, hung out with Bodom and Evergrey till buses departed, all of then are extremely nice.

Now all we need to do is convince them they'd pack some houses if they did a headlining tour.

Oh, and contrary to what a lot of people think, Jon Schaffer of Iced Earth DOES have a sense of humor and actually isn't the asshole some people make him out to be.

Well, what can I say. it was incredible. First, Evergrey actually really impressed me live; on the album they didn't hit me super hard at first but after seeing them live they gave me a new liking!!

Iced Earth, what i saw of it, was likewise good. Christy hits hard as hell, Ripper sounded AWESOME. And Schaffer is indeed a nice guy; Christy is also; and a goofball at that!!

The Bodom guys, I can't even say how sweet, down to earth and nice they are. Just incredible, all five of them. I can't put tonight into words however. I'd say thank you again but they told me I didn't have to thank them...btw...the interview was with Alexi, and it went absolutely splendid...it won't be on the 'whore for awhile; but the pics will be soon. here are a few pics till then:

Oh, I CAN say this much about the interview....the ultimate metal car, is, indeed, a Pontiac Firebird. I tried to tell my friends this but they didn't believe me. It's now on tape. And i got about another 50 pictures that will be up, so don't worry!

Pretty much what everyone said so far is true.

I never heard of Evergrey before, but they definitely did a great job and I thought the crowd was rather receptive of them.

First time seeing Bodom, they fucking killed! The audience went fucking nuts, I was fucking crushed, it fucking ruled! Alexi and Janne were damn near flawless. Janne kept making funny faces at the crowd. Anyone who's seen them knows how intense they are. Not to get them to headline a god damn show in Philly.

Iced Earth, music wise they were awesome. I liked the lighting they had too, however, I wasn't really impressed with their stage presence as compared to Bodom's. The band members are fantastic musicians though. After they left and set up the confederate and union flags, I stayed to hear a little bit of the first song they did with that setup and left.

Yea, it was a sweet show. imo, Evergrey disappointed me a lot. I could barely recognize their songs, and it all sounded the same. I like them a lot better on cd, i thought these guys were supposed to be good :?:

CoB fucking rocked!!! It was so intense. I was at the edge of the pit most of the time, but i went in during some of the crazy songs. It was pretty crazy, their music was pretty intense too. Everyone went totally crazy during Hate Crew Deathroll because Alexi said something about going crazy during it or something.

Iced Earth blew them both out of the water though!!! They played for such a long time and were fucking amazing. They played very good and the Ripper kicked ass. He was very good on vocals, never saw Barlow live, but imo the Ripper did a beter job than Barlow on his own songs. He fuckin ripped!!!

Evergrey was pretty good. I was never a fan until last night. Bodom was fucking insane. I have about 70 pictures. A few with us and Alexi, us and Janne, us and Jaska, didn't get one with Henkka or Roope but that's alright I suppose. Got great pics on stage because we were right up front and center. I'll post them later. Great fucking show.. best show I've ever seen.

my neck is so goddamn sore, and my legs too. words cannot describe how fucking awesome all 3 bands were. Bodom just destroyed. as soon as evergrey left the stage a huge "BODOM! BODOM! BODOM!" chant started and kept restarting every few minutes till their intro started.

I saw Fen walking around alot and I find it funny she doesn't mention how during evergrey I let her in front of me so she could see a little better.
