its becoming much more common... the owner of the school i'm at builds harp guitars with 18 strings, in fact today his trio of harp guitarists played for us, it was insane, especially a dude by the name of anthony mazzella, his 2 handed tapping skills were crazy as hell, as was his slap technique...
