ive been playing the bass for 4 yrs now.
when i began playing, i was too impatient to learn cliff burton's and Steve Digorgio's lines starting at a slow pace... once i could get the freeting, bam, bump it up to 220bpm.
BUT, now i realize that instead of playing 1-2-1-2.etc,
i play 2-1-2-1
in your opinion is this a problem that is worth a good 3 months to forget and remaster 1-2-1-2, or should i stick with what i got?

U shoud play more carefully and focus on both hands ,check out the "begginning for bass" on Mr.D's website for right hand finger speeding U'll have it all there ,cheers

yeah, i check steve's pdf thingy and it seems like he also uses the 2-1 2-1 method,,, once in a while

I think he does whatever he feels like doing when he plays... just the various use of two and three finger, as well as the other stuff he does... incredible.
