Pickup help

My knowledge on pickups is very limited.
Could someone tell me what would be the best combination for EMGs on a Rhoads or just one for the bridge. Got any recommendations?

EMG 81, probably the best all around. I'm going to buy another EMG 81 and put in in the neck position on my guitar as well.

Also 60s or 65s at the neck position is also a common combination along with teh 81 at the bridge.

If you like razor sharp treble go for an 81. If you like thick and warm tone with lots of crunch, put an 85 in the bridge. It's great in the bridge although no one ever uses it there.

i have an 85 and an 81. that way you get the best of both worlds whenever you want

active=low output pickup with preamplifier
passive=pickup with higher output, which doesn't need preamplification.
