This weekend was awesome! It started out Friday afternoon, as DBS played the KISW Hooky Day with Sevendust and Trapt:
Rockin shit!
Paul:
?:
We played in front of a huge crowd and all the kids totally dug us.
Then, onto Saturday! Seattle's Hempfest is the largest hempfest in the nation with typical turnouts over 200,000 over the 2 day event. We're headlining the main stage tonight!
Since parking and traffic near the event is HORRENDOUS, I decided to walk from my house to the park, which was about 3 miles on a nice secluded pathway. I had my backpack with extra clothes and lots of water on one shoulder, and my bass on the other. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Here's a picture I took as I coming towards the entrance of the park:
Rockin the main stage!
All smiles from Clint!
This woman was drawing a picture of us as we played. If you look closely you can see the singer's mohawk on the right. We have no idea who she was or where this drawing is.
We were supposed to headline the main stage at Hempfest last year, but it rained and we were forced to cancel. Luckily everything turned out in our favor this year!
Word.
