how could i forget to bring this up?
what is up with pillowcases being brought to the festival? it's probably my ONLY issue when i come every year.
what happened to the phrase "move your meat, lose your seat"? plus if none of us have assigned seating then it should be a free for all between bands, and nothing should be able to be "reserved" unless you have a person from your group holding seats (which i do). sure, its annoying for all of us to share that duty in a group but it must be done. simply leaving a pillowcase you bring from your hotel isn't really fair to the rest of us wandering around mingling and then coming in when the bands are on when the people with pillowcases are out there doing the same thing, but able to do it freely without leaving anyone behind. now maybe i don't know it but all the pillowcase people do leave someone behind to tell people the seats are taken, but what would be the point? again, i could be mistaken.
just a thought. anyone else find it kind of pretentious of attendees?
not being hostile just inquiring since i have seen it happen several years now and with most things i expect the trend to continue and (HOPEFULLY NOT) grow because if that's the case glenn might as well start selling assigned seating and GA tickets.
