Two of the greatest prog rock bands of all time. Which do you think is better? I ran this poll on another forum once and was a little disappointed with the result - lets see if TM fans are any better

Like Floyd more. More of a journey when listening. Prefer Pink Floyd's expansion past 3 instruments too.

Rush have better Bass, Drums and Vocals though.

I woulda said the same thing about Pink Floyd! Not in a bad way of course... they are a lot more "cerebral", whereas much more of Rush's stuff is high energy/uptempo and Hard Rock based. They actually have some pretty heavy stuff in amongst some of their albums.
