pirates/carribbean

you know, on the way to this film i'd i have to hit the bank and sever another large chunk of my life's blood, which i'm not looking forward to, so can i hear a third?

okay, i'm sorry avi, but that doesn't really count (the sentiment does, for sure). you rarely venture beyond the parameters of certain (non-entertainment-related) spheres, so i have to disqualify your vote.

anyone else? anyone?

O. K. !

here i am going to the movies!

the guy in the cube next to me has also seen it twice, and said it was really good. although i've not seen it, as my movie quota for the next 4 months has been filled by seeing finding nemo.

prep, it is disney though. it would be supporting disney.

while i understand not wanting to support evil co.'s... i hate to say it, but, you just have to let yourself go numb at a certain point. i mean, there is SO MUCH evil in the world (not just talking big co.'s) that you can't avoid it. i'm not saying close your eyes to everything... but, i almost think there is a point of where you can become TOO aware.

sorry.

i know this thread wasn't supposed to be all deep and stuff... just my feelings.

well, maybe, but you would have to listen to her natter about Johnny Depp the whole time.

also, Disney really isn't nearly as bad as it's often made out to be...stupid crap about ALADDIN IS RACIST BECAUSE IT HAS AN ARAB VILLAIN isn't as big a deal as the domestic partner benefits for same-sex couples they offer, and offered before many other places, right?

but you can never be too aware. total information awareness.
