I use some pitchshifting (-1.5) one my vocals (Death Metal) when I record and now I want to do the same thing while playing live and during band practice. What would I need to achive this live?

I am assuming I need something for my mic to go into and then into the PA system / mixing board.

Any recomendations, comments, questions would be great.

Thank you.

Not wanting to tread on any toes here, like...

But wouldn't just learning to make your voice go 1.5 lower be the better and more natural option?

It's kinda like a v-drummer using preset inbuilt patterns....

Carcass did it. How bad can it be?

That said, it's not really a big deal... try learning to go lower. Or I suppose you could sing through a whammy on a detune setting or something.

if you want any kind of respect from the death metal scene or any metal scene for that matter....you will not do that....thats very frowned upon from were I come from.

I am not interested if it is frowned upon of not, come on, this is death metal. Have some fun, lighten up!!!
