I know, the vocal effect is quite subtle, but I´d like to know what he is using. Any ideas? Obviously some modulation, but what exactly? Beside that, I love this cover and Dimebag´s solo at the end

I can't tell exactly but it's definately some chorus/phase but also some subtle doubling going on there. You might get lucky trying an Eventide H3000 for this kind of stuff.

Sounds to me like they applied huge amounts of chorus to both delay (short) and reverb busses.
