Please help me choose between these preamps&converters

I've narrowed down my options to :

API A2D + RME ADI2 or Benchmark AD

or

API Lunch Box + API512C + RME ADI2

I lean towards the 1st option but I'd like to hear
some informed opinions before I order.

I've use Benchmark stuff (their AD/DA converters as well as a few of their preamps).

Very VERY nice shit man.

I've heard nothing but good words about the benchmark stuff and
the specs are truly impressive (my bro is an electronic engineer so I
have him check/compare specs before I buy sth).

Andy used the rme - hope it was the ADI2 - on AE1 so it should be quite good.
There's a 600Eu difference between that and the benchmark.

I would go with the api a2d and just use the built in conversion unless you are looking for more inputs/converters

My thought too. I just think that getting a DA will help the sound
be a bit truer/cleaner etc when I send it out from the digi002 to my reamp box.
Would it make a world of difference if I got the ADI2 instead of the benchmark in this case ?
