this does sound really 80's, but it doesn't seem like a bad mix at all to me. i'm not a professional nor do i have "pro" monitors, but i think it's good. if you want it to sound more modern, it's obviously not as loud as most mixes today so you could try some compression/gentle limiting on the overall mix.

thx, that was an answer i can live with! i'll try to bring up the rest of my songs to this level!
the songs aren't meant to be as a major production but for the 80es metal fan it should work at all...
