it is a drop A song from another thread with stems

i know there are many problems =/. but i need some good ears to tell me what is wrong =)

here is what i think:
- i think the guitars are too fizzy
- the amp on the right side is not as good as the on the left
- the bass is just humming in the background
- cymbals sound ...

i mix on a sub and have some problems in the low end. the guitars always get boomy around 110 hz so i had had to cut them. but i want guitars with balls =( (multiband comp only helped a bit here)

It sounds good as a starting point. There's too much high-mid end in it, and too much gain. Makes it sound small and scratchy.

As far as tone on the guitar. Firstly Tighter tracking is a must, but i usually roll off the lows between 50-80hz maybe boost a bit @ 185hz, if your using pod farm or another guitar amp simulator you can turn down the Highs & presence & mess around with boosting your eq between 3.5 & 4.3K. Also some compression to push down the lows end wouldn't hurt.

What samples/program are you using for your drums? Care to share plugin chain on those as well??

Thanks. But this didn't help me to be honest ^^

drums are steven slate. chain is just eq and l2 on everything (except the overheads).
