Pod Farm Vocal Chain

Hey guys I'm looking for a good vocal chain in Pod Farm to record screams on a DYNAMIC microphone. Yeah I know I don't have a condenser but moneys tight and I just don't have one yet.

I've been using the preset "Vintage Vocal"

But I was wondering what you guys would use?

Probably the right idea.

Agreed, always record clean so you can add effects later - rather than be stuck with them if you've recorded with it on.

I use a noise gate, API preamp, into compressor (delay before or after Comp) and record the wet signal and DI and process the DI later, but use the wet track for tracking purposes
