Pointers on this new Metalcore style demo of mine

This is only a demo, gnna record it properly when ive pulled me finger out and wrote the rest of the song!! ive only got this so far, in terms of the mix, any pointers. I think its all a bit mushy at the mo, guitars dont balls out like they should, the snare is my mates tama 12" steel sampled, and ive not really messed around with it too much, its a bit too open.
