Hi guys,

I produced a local alt. rock band today:

Guitar-wise, we used a Fender Stratocaster and Kramer Baretta (with Bare Knuckle VHII pickups), into the Axe-FX, running a modified version of the stock "Hell's Bells" patch. The bass is a Warwick Streamer, also into the Axe-FX.
Drums are Toontrack S2.0 w/expansions.
Used an SM7 on the vocals.

I haven't finished editing the vocals, and the mastering is only rough.

Let me know what you think!

Wicked, cheers AudioPhile! The same URL in the OP should now link to an updated version. Amongst other things the vocals are quieter and I changed the kick for a softer sample. :)

niiice !

I'm really diggin it, the choice of sounds on all the instruments fit really well with the music which is hell'a important for me.

The part around 2:12 needs some epic vocal harmonies, and the song will be a money maker :)

*edit, goddamn this song rocks, it has a slight NIN edge to it, which i love.

Thanks guys!

Ola, yeah, I agree but the only part where it is noticeably detrimental is the very first riff IMO. I might get him to retrack it next time he's here.

xFkx, cheers! For some reason we decided to just double-track the vocals in that part. I may well get them to track some big harmonies there. Cool that you dig the track, it's certainly catchy.
