So for the past several ive been sitting in front my computer trying to figure how the heck to get my M-Audio Keystation 88es which is plugged-in via USB cable to my CGR rack mounted computer to work in cubase. When using any application stand-alone such as kontakt 4 oe 3 for that matter. omnisphere or east west stuff it works perfect, in fact better then perfect. But when I open cubase no matter what ive tried it doesnt work. It's as if there is a concrete wall blocking the connection of the controller in cubase any of my plug-ins.

Maybe there is something I'm missing thanks ahead of time for taking your time to address this question.

Devices > Device Setup... > MIDI Port Setup

see that the device is listed there and is active, if it's not listed there, re-install drivers

After that route the input of the midi/instrument channels to the device
