PainofSalvation played an unplugged show in Eskilstuna their hometown on the 12th of may

they're also working on a new projekt with a theme about the dawn of mankind
The Perfect Element part II will be sometime in the future but when is not good to say at this point

from Daniel Gildenlow:

"The next project we do is an Unplugged-conert on monday, that will maybe be (recorded for) an album. We also prepare for a project that will be an album, I can't reveal very much now, but as usual it will be about the search for yourself and also about the origin of the humanrace, a bit larger than on Remedy Lane then, but it shall hopefully be the same intensive and intimate feeling. We'll put it all up here in Eskilstuna next autumn, bring the family and experience some modern culture...

This is going to be amazing. Plus I hear we're getting another studio album BEFORE TPE2! That means we have two more studio albums, plus this awesome live experiment to look forward to.

And an album about the dawn of mankind was MY idea damnit!

hmm, I hope that is not true, but I haven't heard. I just read a review of the concert which said it was very good. But if it was cancelled, that is too bad.

To be honest, I don't think that chain sling version was good enough for a live album. I don't think an acoustic concert like that is very suitable for a live album anyway...

I too didn't really care for that version of "Chain Sling"... Johan's vocals sounded very weird.
