I'm looking for more bands that mix Black Metal with Post-rock. Bands like Altar of Plagues and Wolves in the Throne Room. I mostly like how vast the music sounds but I also like stuff that successfully mixes in lots of ambient and/or acoustic elements.

Agalloch
Amesoeurs
Deafhaven
Dernier Martyr
Falls of Rauros
A Forest of Stars
Hypomanie
Imperium Dekadenz
Lantlos
Les Discrets
Liam
Lifelover
Lustre
Manetheren
Miserere Luminis
Mortifera
Sombres Forets
Self-Inflicted Violence
Thränenkind
Veil
Woods of Desolation

I just finished recording "The Water Witch" album which is definitely worth checking out. It's pretty much the original A Forest Of Stars line up. 2 track preview here:

Also "hvíldarlauss dauðr" are about to come back into the studio to record something with more of a black metal shoeqaze feel. The previous demo can be found here:

Thanks ExecutiveRob, the Water Witch stuff is fantastic! Can't wait for the album.

Great list, KafkaX. I don't think these have been mentioned yet.

Dalla Nebbia (my band, http://dallanebbia.bandcamp.com)
Panopticon
Weakling
Alcest
Drudkh
Coldworld
Melankoli
Petrychor
Desolate Oasis
Decline of the I
Velnias
Midnight Odyssey
Ash Borer
Fen
Deafest
Letheia

Check out anything from Khrysanthony records.

^ I second Alcest. Les Discrets are also good, and ColdWorld isn't really along the lines of the post-rocky black metal stuff but he writes ambient black metal like no other.

Fen and Deafheaven are both good recs.

I'd also throw out Castevet; interesting post-black act. They only have one full-length, Mounds of Ash.

Also, this band isn't black metal, but I think fans of post-black will enjoy them. They're called Black Math Horseman:

Also I'd like to recommend this blog. I've been spending a lot of time on it lately. They stream full album new releases from black metal bands that are more than just black metal, whether it's post-black, black-gaze, dsbm, avant-garde, etc.

I don't know why but it wouldn't let me post the vk link directly, so I put a space in it. Just remove the space to navigate to it.

A couple more for you. A lot of this stuff doesn't match what you're looking for exactly, but I look for the same stuff and I like this stuff too so hopefully you will:

Drautran (They don't slow down for long on this album, but there's a lot of ambient influence)

An ambient acoustic track by them:

Forgotten Woods

Lunar Aurora (Probably too fast to be considered ambient at all but you'll probably still like them)

Nagelfar

Waldgefluster:

Wodensthrone:

Again, not EXACTLY what you're looking for, but give 'em a try.
