I thought it would be a novel idea to have everyone on the forum post what they feel to be their personal best mixes in the one place, so if anybody ever needs to refference any of their work, or see how other people work, they could do it easily.

I figure if this thread takes off and people actually add submissions, I'll keep coming back and updating this figurehead post with a tally and links.

I'll start it off, I guess.

Best mix of what? Funk, metal? How about slow death metal? Here's a recent mix for me. Didn't record this band but mixed it and soundreplaced the drums and reamped the guitars. In case your wondering, the tom samples came out of a DM5 hahahaha! The band is Vore.

Actually Im adding this cause you said best. I actually recorded this one. Again death metal, this time Vile.

Or, 'Stumble And Fall' on my Myspace page : http://www.myspace.com/destroysomethingbeautifuluk

And for comparison, one of the first mixes I cobbled together, back in January...

EDIT - the Geocities link will probably not work, and Myspace is dragging it's heels about uploading my latest version of Stumble And Fall... but when it appears, comments/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This is not my mix, it's mixed by our "6th band member" 23 year old Sami Koivisto. So I guess it will not count :) but I just had to post this... Talking about a talented young man...

Thanks man! I like the mix as well. We've just getting bigger in finland but you might as well wait for a couple of years for us to sing in english :) It's been cool to get noticed elsewhere outside of Finland. And for everybody else there: Try our shit out ;) You might even like it.
