Today I got the Nortt/Xasthur split album. It's called Hedengang/ A Curse for The Lifeless. I'm enjoying it. I also recently picked up Necrophobic's The Nocturnal Silence.

Really, I can NOT understand why you would not like "Heritage" if you like "Ancestors' Shadows"? They were basically recorded at the same time, with the same type of songwriting ideas, only in my opinion "Heritage" is stronger throughout. "The Spirit Born of Freedom" is perhaps their best song... Though if they had skipped releasing both albums within a year, and instead put all the best tracks ("The Spirit...", "Thunder I Shall Bring", "On the Eternal Way", "Through Time of Memory" and a couple others I can't recall right now) on one album, we would have had something MAGNIFICIENT on our hands. The new one is disappointing, though, I agree... "The Swan Road" was the better of this year's Astrofaes albums ;)
