Thanks everyone. I drew it purely with pastel. No effects though pastel is hard to scan I used a big scanner at work for it the colours never come out exactly as on the original.

I just thought it was funny that it could be read as a sexual predator or asexual predator.. someone that preys on people with no sexual feelings.

Thanks! Pastel is rather hard. When I used to draw (in the last two years I don't have the time) I usually used watercolours and oil colours. Your painting has a really great mood, melancholic and evocative, peaceful but with a certain, vague feeling that something is coming...

A darkness perhaps?
I wish I knew how to paint but I paint like a 5 year old child. Not used to having to wait for layers to dry and such. I guess I captured the mood of that day in Finland successfully.

My scholarly little brother in this photo, before he photoshopped brushwork onto it (to make it look vintage and 30's-esque).
About two/three years ago. I can't exactly remember.
