A question for the ladies, if you post a cover tune on myspace as a musicians account do you need permission if the song is listed as a cover?

You may want to ask the MySpace admins about this, Schmidt. Have you tried contacting them?
It does seem as if there's a lot of music posted up by fans or people who have recorded themselves there. We only post clips of music that we pay licensing for, so we wouldn't know what the rules would be otherwise. Wish we could be more helpful to you about this. Good luck!

Thanks, I'll contact them. There rules are no posting of copyrighted material, I have to find out if it includes covers.
