PRESS RELEASE 30.08.2011

POWER QUEST to headline Arctic Festival in 2012

UKs Power Metal 6 piece Power Quest have been confirmed to headline the Arctic Festival on Friday, 6th January 2012 in London. Tickets available from the 5th September via http://www.bridgehouse2.com

The bands latest performance at Bloodstock Open Air in Derby saw them play in front of a packed Sophie Lancaster stage and they managed to attract the biggest crowd on the festivals 3rd day. The response from both the media and fans was extremely positive.

Steve Williams comments: “It was fantastic to be back at Bloodstock for the first time since 2003. We were all blown away by the size of the crowd and the reaction as well. So many PQ shirts in the audience and so many familiar faces from down the years. Absolutely incredible!”

Power Quest is currently planning a few more UK shows towards end of the year, and we can confirm the following appearances:

November 25th – Bedford Esquires
November 27th – Wakefield Snooty Fox

Did Elvenking get a bad reception at Metalfest?

Despite all of the messing, it still had the best, most mind blowing line-up of ANY festival I've ever seen in the UK! :) I mean where else will you see bands like Fairlyland, PQ, Circus Maximus, Primal Fear, Dragonland, Thy Majestie (didn't make it), and many others to boot? Some of my faves anyway...
