Let's face it, the festival deserves a few threads.
I'm not one for flaming posts about who's good in what bands, or why people suck, or what is/isn't prog, so I'll just comment on the stuff I liked.
Well, I am however a guy who likes to bust on wardrobes, so between Khan's gay fonzie outfit and the Pain of Salvation guys' pajamas, we had fun. Didn't want to sound like I never say anything bad about people....yeah right!
Savatage/Oliva was absolutely awesome. Caff's come a LONG way in singing and playing. He was just blistering on guitar. I loved the song selection and would like to say damn to Mike for telling me they'd play Hyde. That was a total Miss Cleo moment.
Tad Morose had an excellent set. I loved the energy and the writing, and the singer, whose name I can only remember as adjective-noun, was outstanding. Back to the rehearsal room for me!
Enertia kicked major ass as always.
More to come. Lata!
