D.C. Cooper has been officially confirmed to replace Avian at the ProgPower USA Pre-Party on Thursday, Sept 15th. Joining him on stage for the hour long acoustic set will be Tore Ostby (Conception) and Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69). Both Tore and Dennis performed on D.C.'s 1998 solo album. Furthermore, D.C. has said there may be more guests joining him on stage that night for what he calls "an open jam" towards the end of the set. Ticket information for the event can be located at www.progpowerusa.com. As of 8/2/05, approximately 100 tickets remain available.

Thanks, Shane and Glenn

This is an excellent replacement, maybe they could even prepare a couple Pyramaze tracks with Lance King or something.

I also like the idea of it being an acoustic set. That keeps it different than the main show, and also is amenable to easy socializing.

Nice work guys!

Ken

WAY cool.... :hotjump:

I have been friends with D.C. for years...

Very nice, Glenn...VERY nice.... :worship:

Well, it would have been ok if you had picked some musicians who could play or a vocalist who could sing...but i suppose i can suck it up and muddle through it...

Wow - I really dug some of the stuff off PARADOX when he was with Royal Hunt... haven't heard the solo stuff yet... but i think this ia a great addition to an alrerady great soundsing festival this year - kudos to Glenn and Shane!

(And Tore is gonna sit in? On HELL yeah...)

Glenn, Shane . . .

Now THAT'S what I call atonement. Replacing a great singer with an even better one. Cooper should really shine on an acoustic set. Awesome addition! Kudos for working this late cancellation so well.

Steve

You have to be kidding me... This is absolutely incredible!!!! As much as I was looking forward to hearing one of Lance's new bands, I am 10X more excited with the addition of D.C./Tore in an acoustic set. Wow, I am at a loss for words. This has shaped up to be what might very well be the greatest 3 days of music ever! Orphaned Land acoustic, D.C. acostic with Tore and Dennis, and then a full headlining Dreamscape set... And that is the pre-party. Those remaining 100 tickets should sell very quickly now; I really hope they do as I would love to see this caliber of a pre-party every year. Let's go guys and girls- come down a day earlier and support the pre-party. I would not miss this for anything. Congrats to all your (everyone involved) hard work; it is greatly appreciated.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!! DC Copper himself, this is great, and makes the Pre-Party even better. OUTWORLD, DREAMSCAPE, ORPHANED LAND and now DC COOPER with TORE and DENNIS and some special guests. HMMMMMMMMM i wonder who they are????? KAHN maybe. We can only hope.

Thanks. However, I need to point out that I am nothing but a consultant in this case. Shane is the man for this night.
