It depends on what you expect. If you're expecting death metal, you're not going to get that from Opeth, but if you like progressive metal/rock, you'll get that from Opeth, and you might like it (if you're into that stuff). I like progressive rock/metal bands, so I think Opeth is decent. I liked their last album, and I think the next album they will eventually make, will be okay.

I love prog rock, but Heritage was really boring and mediocre album. Damnation was a good folky/ prog album though.
