prejudice against headbangers

Here in Brazil there's so much prejudice with people that like metal...the majority here thinks that headbangers are drug addicts, future beggars and other bullshits. I have to say that part of this idea is true here...many guys who are into rock like to follow behaviours like "fuck the world, fuck the studies, fuck the rest...we don't care about anything".
Metal scene here is increasing, but it's difficult for you to see guys walking on the streets wearing band's t-shirt...
I don't consider myself as a headbanger (what's a real headbanger? someone who is always in black, have tattos? please, tell me)...I'm just a guy who likes most rock in general, but I listen as well to other styles.
In my opinion, maybe in Europe and in the EUA people are more open minded in relation to heavy music and in relation to guys who listen to this kind of music.

no, they are not really...i am the only real metalfan on my school and it seems that coz of the music i like everyone at my school knows me! in the beginning ppl tried to tease me and they were talking shit about me. not really tolerant!
