I just finished recording these guys and i made a quick premix to check out if you guys liked it.

Totally different aproach in alot of things, then the standard metalproducing, learned alot from the bandmembers!

the rest of the mix sound pretty amazing but try to raise the drum volume a bit (especially the overheads). I think that may make it sound better.

+1 for raising the drums. I don't like the vocals (i don't mean in a producing perspective... just the singing and voice) so much but the instruments are killer.

Yeah the vocals are horrible. Really, this is a case where I would really squash them to shit and then either get some good gain, or put some speaker sim type thing to really distort his voice. It just sounds too dry and up front. Also, I think the drums are still a bit too distant.
