Yeah, when I heard the name My Bloody Valentine I thought they'd be a goth band with theatrical vocals and violins all over the place. Boy was I surprised when it turned out that they were a godlike shoegazer band with very fuzzed out guitars.

dude I KNEW IT i was like, dude i totally know which things josh is gonna like. FYI MBV is one of my all time faves and like, rollerskate skinny is a post-MBV band with MBV members... thus the awesomeness connection. i seriously <3 them. and like NOU, well... holy crap dude they rule. and that, honestly, isn't even CLOSE to their best song. i recommend you just get the album 'plays pretty for baby' ASAP!

p.s. you will also WICKED like the aphex twin song alberto balsam and like his entire new 2cd box of remixes which RULE and i can copy for you if you want at some point. i am in the process of arguing WHY i should get the aphex twin A tattooed on my back b/c like, it's an A for amanda too.
