Presenting you the GHOST burger (topped with a communion wafer)

That burger looks legitimately delicious, eucharist or not. Going to Kuma's someday is one of my lifegoals.

You think that's bad? There's a place here in NYC called the Minetta Tavern that has a $28 "Black Label Burger" (no relation to the whiskey or the band).

I've been meaning to try this bad boy for a while. Have you had it? Of course if you want a "whiskey" burger, you can have the Jack Daniels Burger at the Times Square TGI Friday's and pay $21 for it. ;)

I tried it once this past summer. It's probably the best burger I've ever had. Conversely, Peter Luger's has an $8 burger they make with their steak trimmings that's also incredible.

... and don't knock Friday's! I could drink that JD sauce out of a bottle.

Kuma's is very overrated. There are other places better in Chicago to get a great burger. If you want the metal atmosphere...I recommend Lock Down Bar and Grill. They play stuff from Dio, Exodus, classic 80s stuff and some death metal on occasion. They also have screen playing dvd concerts as well. Never a wait to get in and great food...and this is coming from a very very picky eater. It is also run by a metal fan and looks like a metal restaurant should look. Kuma's fired the guy who created the "metal burgers" years ago. They just opened a second place which literally you would walk by and miss.

Don't listen to Bob. He's never actually been to Kuma's and his definition of a good burger is a plain burger without anything but ketchup on a bun.

I am not knocking it! I love that stuff! But I find the price at Times Square almost hilarious when I compare it to what I pay for that burger here in Connecticut...

Hey, just like I finally went to PP, someday Bob will have to go to Kuma's!!!

I always said I wouldn't mind trying Kuma's, but if the burgers are truly $17, then hell no!!!

I have driven by it so many times and the people in line turn my stomach.

Did you literally just tell people to not eat at a restaurant (and suggest that there are better options no less) that you've never even been to just because of the "people in line"?

Dude....Three Floyds beer is on another level. They've got some of the best stuff I've ever tried. And I've been to Chicago three times now...still haven't gone to Kuma's. Maybe a meet up there before Alehorn?!!?!!!
