Priest sell out and bring back Halford

Yeah, you probably all seen this shit elsewhere. Rob Halford has rejoined Judas Priest - an apt name for a band if ever I heard one.
As far as Im concerned they just lost all their credibility by becoming a shitty cabaret act, instead of sticking by Tim Owens who is a great singer. It makes me sick.
As much as I love old school Priest, this move just stinks of selling out to make some easy cash and it's disgusting. I hope no one buys the new album and Tim Owens finds a new band and sells millions.
Heavy metal makes me want to vomit sometimes.

Well the guys in Priest seemed to like Tim Owens when he was carrying them over the past five years - now they've dropped him to make some easy money.
Hey, it's just my opinion but I liked the Ripper stuff and I won't be spending any more money on Priest stuff.

I have to disagree. and agree. Halford is not priest, nor is Ripper, or Glen etc. Was Joey Anthrax, Johns not, nor is Scott ( he needs Charlie and vice Versa) Its is the collective that makes the band. I hope Tim continues, I hear Pantera might need a new frontman.

Before you start feeling all sad for Ripper, remember, he would have had no job if it weren't for Rob anyway. He was a professional Rob imitator - and the music was shitty during his tenure.

ripper is a fucking great vocalist i am sure there are no sour grapes on his part,id love to hear him doing something with vinnie and dime,they are friends and there was a rumour that he was offered phils position.

i havent heard demolition but the first one they did with ripper was a great metal record!

lets hope whatever happens ripper is fronting a decent band.

Hey, I think you'd feel differently if "Thrax dropped John like a brick and re-joined w/ Joey. I think that was his point. Why bring in a replacement if your just gonna dick him over years later after he's settled in.

no, it was a sigh of relief, a great metal bands best line up getting it back together. halford back in priest is the same. blayze was a good vocalist, but he wasnt maiden.
