I want to make live back tracks for my band to play with and I've been given the pro tools sessions from when we recorded. However, i'm not very familiar with pro tools nor do I have any idea how to make stems in the easiest way. Basically I just want to export them so I can mix our tracks in logic (my usual DAW). I've looked around youtube and can't really find any good tutorials. What methods do you guys normally use to bounce out stems? Thanks in advance for any help!

Select all from the beginning of session to the end of the regions. Hit shift+option+3 to consolidate. Then shift+cmd+k to export. choose your settings, and your location. Bam. open logic and pull them shits in.

Which is what he said^^^^^^, but with shortcuts. :)

thats tracks not stems. If you need stems you need to either bounce stereo files or bus out and re record into session real time. Just reassign the outputs in PT and bring into new tracks

Andy!

I just bus the drums guitars etc to new tracks and record...
slow and boring.
