Being in this band has opened doors and opportunities for me, which I might not have had otherwise. With a growing underground fan base, my participation with this forum, and other online areas, it's very easy to reveal personal things about my life, and I chose to do so in the lyric book I wrote. I am a very private person, and I do try to keep that separate from the band, but sometimes no matter how hard you try, some things just can't be kept private.
Over the past few days, as the news was spread through my group of friends, others who have heard the news began to contact me in private, not knowing if they should say anything in the open. Thank you for your discretion, and I really appreciate that. After repeating my self several times responding to many people, I thought it would be more an honor to my father, then to keep it quiet, and personal.
On March 5th, at 4:00 am, my father passed away, and was buried on Friday, March 7th.
I just wanted to say thanks to those who have privately sent me condolences, offered to help us with anything we needed, and just sent kind words. I and my family appreciate it, dearly.
