Pro Tools 9 main window crashes (windows 7)

hey all

been using protools 9 for transferring projects and stuff and all was well up until today. every time I open it, no matter if I open a project, start a blank one, or even just hit cancel on the quickstart window or whatever, it just freezes and says (not responding) in the taskbar

it's kind of an emergency because I need to transfer some drum tracks before I had to the studio. any ideas?

ps. i've tried everything from deleting the prefs files to reinstalling altogether...

If it isn't on DUC it has to be some sort of hardware conflict :S Bummer for you man

havnt check this in 9 but trashing your user preferences used to be the way to start troble shooting PT, but it will wipe any custom setups you have and should load like the first time you ever ran PT,
But yeah go chat on the AVID DUC forum, plenty of PT help available there.
