Hey guy's, so this is my first post and I've been lurking this forum for a little while trying to answer as many of my own questions as possible. At this point I am left with one big question and a few smaller ones.
I have a folder of drum samples currently, the Black & Gold truth kit that Eric tracked with Joey, and what I'm looking for is a program I can use to program the .wav files with. For all I know its not even possible in the first place. I purchased Slate Trigger when I got all my gear in the first place and plan on using it down the road and understand that in its full. Drum Replacement makes perfect sense to me.
The trouble I'm having is sorting through iDrum (Which I messed with today and sounded way to fake for me) EZ Drummer, Addictive Drums, ect and deciding which one is best for me. I'm just looking to program the .wav's in the Piano Roll (I use Logic as a DAW) and be able to control the articulations to the best of my ability for the bands I'm recording that drummers suck, or just WANT to program drums (Which blows my mind)
I have a project coming up soon so I need something ASAP. I understand cheaper is never better but as I just spend a majority of my loan money to get started on hardware and a little bit of software I don't want to spend too much.
What are my options! Am I totally missing the concept of programming drums anyways? Ectect.
Anyways, thanks for having me Forum
