my sound is only coming out the left speakers. whats the deal?

i have the same problem (recording through mic)..... no idea how to fix it..... i just pan the track to where i want it to be after recording

something to do with the strereo/ mono monitoring settings, or something in the settings of the audio devices maybe??

I'm using Cubase on my new computer, recording guitar ->pedal ->computer, and the latency is really bad, i have to drag the udio I recorded to just before the begining of the next bar so it's in time with the metronome- - can anyone help?? (it didn't used to happen with my old computer with cakewalk and exactly the same setup)

Ravenous: sounds like somethings really sucking on the performance of your PC (or maybe it's a slow PC?)
any other progs in the background? or das Cubase take so much from the CPU?

Krigloch: I use Cool Edit Pro 2.0 for recording. you can do such things with the prog

get the manual for cubase, it shows you how to fix that problem.

you might need to get more ram, i use nuendo and it uses up a ton of the comps memory. if i run another farely big program, it changes the sample rate of nuendo...

1024MB ram, no other programs running, P4 HT 3.0Ghz, and I don't have the manual!??
